What is Arizona's favorite dance?

Arizona 2-Step of course!  This dance is the most popular in Arizona Dance Clubs and is our most requested dance in class!  You will love this versatile dance, it can be done in any venue from ballroom, swing or country. It can progress around the dance floor, or with turns be a stationary dance. 

 We hope to see you in class....It isn't just in Arizona anymore....  

Arizona 2-Step

6 count couples dance

Position: The basic ballroom position or c/w partner position.
The gentleman is going forward (facing LOD) & the lady is going backward (backing LOD). 
(LOD - Line of Dance, See our dance terms link)

1-2  MAN: Step left forward, step right together with left (place weight on right)
LADY: Step right back, step left together, (place weight on left).
3-4 
 		 MAN: Step left forward, touch right beside left.
LADY: Step right back, touch left beside right.
5-6  MAN: Step right back, touch left beside right.
LADY: Step left forward, touch right beside left.
  REPEAT
